A superb, fragrant, non-drop Christmas tree with silvery green foliage. The Fraser Fir is commonly overlooked, but as well as it’s aforementioned merits, it has a lovely slender shape that makes it perfect for smaller living rooms or tight spaces. It also lasts really well indoors, dropping very few needles.
The Fraser Fir and Nordmann Fir are our best non-dropping Christmas Trees. Whereas the Nordmann has horizontally tiered branches, the Fraser has more upright branches and a much narrower shape.It’s citrus fragrance, however, really sets the tree apart. It is also a bit cheaper because it is faster growing.
Fraser Fir trees are originally from North America. They seem to like our climate and we’ve been growing them since 1999. We have a new crop that we’ll begin to harvest this year. We supplement these with trees grown in central Wales.
